Blended Learning
In the post-COVID-19 world, it is essential to create well-structured, balanced educational environments that prioritize health and safety while ensuring academic progress. The City School Holdings has developed curriculum delivery methods that prioritize the safety of students and their families alongside educational standards.
Blended Learning Approach
This blended learning framework ensures that The City School remains committed to providing a safe and effective educational experience while adapting to the ongoing challenges of the current environment.
Flexible Attendance
The school will implement a blended model, dividing the student body into groups that alternate between attending school for face-to-face learning and participating in online learning from home.
Health and Safety Compliance
Strict adherence to health and safety regulations specific to each country will guide our practices, taking into account the unique circumstances of each school and its community.
Sanitation Protocols
Cleaners will sanitize toilets after each use to maintain hygiene standards.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Each student will have an allocated table and chair, along with a personal tray containing all necessary learning resources and materials.
Year 1 Classes
With a maximum of 10 students per room, each classroom will have one teacher and one teaching assistant. Blended sessions will include both E-learning and in-person instruction, with teachers and assistants swapping rooms for active learning experiences.
Years 2 to 6
Each classroom will accommodate up to 12 students, with one teacher and one teaching assistant per room, ensuring individualized attention.
E-learning for Medical Conditions
Students registered for E-learning due to medical conditions must adhere to the school timetable on Zoom and submit their work via Seesaw by the end of each session. Attendance will be recorded for home learning students.
Independent Work
Sharing of printed materials is prohibited. Students will work in their own workbooks and activity books, taking photos of their work to submit to teachers via Airdrop or Seesaw for marking.
